Dragonflies and More

It’s been a while. Can’t tell you how much I wish I could be one of those people who could just go and travel everywhere they want and not have to worry about work or anything else. Alas, I can not. I have to work and plan my travels and adventures along my free time. Which usually has to cram into the 3 weeks of vacations I get a year.

Speaking of vacations I am going to Washington D.C in September and will be there for 5 days, I’ll be viewing the monuments and of course our tradition of checking out the local Zoo. I will also be seeing parts of Virginia as well but if there’s any pointers or places to check out please share.

Anyways, went for a walk today and snapped some random nature shots.

So, anyone want to share any ideas for my next ‘next’ vacation? I’m thinking of planning a cruise, never been on one but I’d really want to go. Anyone want to share any pointers or experiences?

Erie Peninsula

Atlanta last week. Pennsylvania this week. I’m in Erie, Pennsylvania. Granted I’m here for work but after 4PM the time is mine to do with as I see fit. I will say this…

It is freezing cold!?

And I am not exaggerating either. It has been snowing. Snowing in April, almost May. But this afternoon I went and explored the Erie Peninsula. Drove the entire loop and stopped to take pictures. In this freezing weather it wasn’t as if I could stay out long but I can only imagine how absolutely stunning it would be during the summer when you can actually enjoy the beach.

Georgia Vacation Part 1: Aquarium

Hello World!!!

It has been way too long since I have been on a vacation or traveled. So these next few weeks will be JAM PACKED with pictures. I am currently on a girls only vacation with my best friend. We are in Atlanta, Georgia and although weather calls for rain that’s not stopping us for going out and having fun, granted we can’t do some of out door exploring that we had hoped to go to, the botanical gardens, olympic park and so on but it is still going to be a very fun vacation. Today was mostly spent at the Georgia Aquarium so enjoy the colors of the wonderful fish and sea life critters.

Will you marry me?

While we were at the aquarium we happened to witness a pretty creative and original wedding proposal, these two were called up to the front as volunteers and had to answer questions asked by the scuba diver. Here’s the question.
