It’s night time, the first night of our week in DC where we plan on enjoying many things and visiting MANY of the the museums and monuments and everything else of interest. Didn’t head out too much today but I grabbed a few shots with my cell phone. Sorry for the sorry quality of cell phone pictures but enjoy! 

    
 
It’s amazing really, how comfortable I feel in hotels and such. I’m definitely a hotel hoppin’ kind of gal. I love the pull of adventure and being drawn to things I’ve never seen. I can’t wait to the days where I can broaden my horizons and view the things in different countries I have not seen.

Life is always an adventure.

One of the biggest adventures in life that I have seen is family. All families are different all people see things different. Even identical twins (although they may look the same) usually have very different personalities. My family is always growing either by us ‘adopting’ someone as part of our family and just bringing them in and welcoming them with open arms or by the many nieces and nephews I always have. Some of these are getting older some are being born now, either way they are all different even when they look the same. And lets face it kids are hilarious.

I held a mini photo shoot with some of my nieces and nephews so here are my mini models. Gotta love them.

Dragonflies and More

It’s been a while. Can’t tell you how much I wish I could be one of those people who could just go and travel everywhere they want and not have to worry about work or anything else. Alas, I can not. I have to work and plan my travels and adventures along my free time. Which usually has to cram into the 3 weeks of vacations I get a year.

Speaking of vacations I am going to Washington D.C in September and will be there for 5 days, I’ll be viewing the monuments and of course our tradition of checking out the local Zoo. I will also be seeing parts of Virginia as well but if there’s any pointers or places to check out please share.

 

Anyways, went for a walk today and snapped some random nature shots.

So, anyone want to share any ideas for my next ‘next’ vacation? I’m thinking of planning a cruise, never been on one but I’d really want to go. Anyone want to share any pointers or experiences?
