So, I hold no ownership for these photos seeing as I had absolutely NO idea what I was going to walk into when I got home today. But to put it simply.

I walk in through the door and see a trail of roses leading to the bench with a box on it and note. I bend over to pick up the note and the box MOVES and I hear meowing. I open a lid and there he is. This little kitten who’s name is Prince. But that is NOT all, for on his collar was a second present. Beautiful and sparkling. And long story short.

I am engaged!

 

So to all who are reading, to all who follow. Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I had the best Christmas present and I hope your holidays are full of cheer.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to everyone! I just got back home from the mountains. The good ol’ Smokies. I have been to these mountains in Tennessee but never had a chance to go through and take pictures of the scenic route. It’s been a long day today. A lot of driving.

7… the number of hours I was in a car.

340… number of miles from my apartment to Knoxville,

and…

43… the total number of SEMI trucks I had to pass before getting home. I don’t like semi-trucks. They are road hogs that take up the entire high-way. But I am home now. All’s well. And I’m exhausted.

Life is always an adventure.

One of the biggest adventures in life that I have seen is family. All families are different all people see things different. Even identical twins (although they may look the same) usually have very different personalities. My family is always growing either by us ‘adopting’ someone as part of our family and just bringing them in and welcoming them with open arms or by the many nieces and nephews I always have. Some of these are getting older some are being born now, either way they are all different even when they look the same. And lets face it kids are hilarious.

I held a mini photo shoot with some of my nieces and nephews so here are my mini models. Gotta love them.

 

Oldest niece is going to be a heart breaker.
I could take hundreds of pictures of these big blue eyes and still never have enough.
