Dragonflies and More

It’s been a while. Can’t tell you how much I wish I could be one of those people who could just go and travel everywhere they want and not have to worry about work or anything else. Alas, I can not. I have to work and plan my travels and adventures along my free time. Which usually has to cram into the 3 weeks of vacations I get a year.

Speaking of vacations I am going to Washington D.C in September and will be there for 5 days, I’ll be viewing the monuments and of course our tradition of checking out the local Zoo. I will also be seeing parts of Virginia as well but if there’s any pointers or places to check out please share.

Anyways, went for a walk today and snapped some random nature shots.

So, anyone want to share any ideas for my next ‘next’ vacation? I’m thinking of planning a cruise, never been on one but I’d really want to go. Anyone want to share any pointers or experiences?

Spring Time Fauna

We appear to have gotten past the pollen and dust that makes my life miserable every year and now the beauty of spring can be enjoyed. Flowers are beginning to bloom and strange observation, our rose bushes are blooming but only on the North side, if anyone has any insight to this do share. North Carolina is green and beautiful this time of year, not too hot, not too cold and an absolutely PERFECT breeze making it that much better. I’ve been in a chippy mood lately so colors seem brighter, beauty is gorgeous and happiness is overjoyed. I just hope that everyone reading this can feel the same way.

Last Part – Georgia Vacation: Animals of the Zoo

I realized I did a piece about the birds of the zoo but apparently forgot to get the animals of the zoo. This is only a small handful and I am sure you are getting sick and tired of seeing birds and animals. I have some plans in the works and am thinking of playing with some macro this weekend so keep your eyes peeled. I’m also supposed to be getting my new telephoto lens next week… exciting! A new way of showing you life the way I see it.
